Had to put this on because it freaks my boyfriend out. Note, this is a cropped version of the whole thing haha.
Oil painting task, copying Chuck Close’s Big Self-Portrait, using a grid. We also had to make our own black paint, which took nearly as long to get perfect as painting the actual painting itself.
A quick study in life drawing, my favourite class this semester. If anyone is considering taking a life drawing class but is still unsure or nervous or something you should definitely take one! They are so helpful with anatomy and drawing from life and all the awkwardness is completely gone by, like, week 3 of the course :)
